Cebu dancing inmates pay tribute to Michael Jackson, King of Pop Jun 29

The dancing jailbirds of the Cebu City Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center utmost security prison house in the Philippine province of Cebu are back with a tribute to Michael Jackson, who passed of cardiopulmonary arrest on Friday at the age of 50.

‘King of Pop’ Michael Jackson dead at 50 Jun 25

Michael Jackson, 50, died Thursday in Los Angeles as sensationally as he lived, as famous as a human being can get.

“It is believed he suffered cardiac arrest in his home. However, the cause of his death is unknown until results of the autopsy are known,” his brother Jermaine said. Police said they were investigating, standard procedure in high-profile cases.

Arroyo calls on Japan to accept more Philippine workers Jun 21

TOKYO (AFP) — Philippine President Gloria Arroyo voiced hope on Saturday that Japan will accept more workers from her country under a bilateral economic pact.

In an interview with Japanese public broadcaster NHK, Arroyo hailed Tokyo’s acceptance of Philippine nurses and care workers in line with the economic partnership pact signed between the two countries in 2006.

“This is a milestone because it is the first visible impact on the benefit” of the pact, said Arroyo, who is on a visit to Japan.

New Twitter Search Engine: CrowdEye Jun 21
