Pacquiao vs Clottey – Fight week has arrived, but it seems a lot of the excitement over Pacquiao vs Clottey has been subsumed by the interest in Mayweather-Mosley. Part of that – as Rumble writer Anthony Wilson points out – is obviously due to the disappointment over Pacquiao-Mayweather and the specter of steroids. Some of it is owed to the fact that there was no 24/7 leading into this fight and it was only made official 8 weeks ago. The largest reason, though, why there seems to be so little heat is that it is nearly universally believed Pacquiao will win. There was genuine drama going into Pacquaio’s most recent fights; his last fight as such a clear favorite was against the overmatched David Diaz, and Manny was predictably brilliant. Joshua Clottey, however, is no David Diaz. Clottey has some clear advantages over Manny and is capable of winning this fight. An underdog? Yes. A sacrificial lamb? No.

It lived a fun day today at the Palazzo. On the other hand once again that is a every day happening in that place. It has no more small question Manny Pacquiao loves to keep the status corner that place year in and year out. There’s barely no backup for the fun and the chaos that attach to it.

BB Finland, meet Cathy! At 4 a.m., Sunday, which is around 12:30 nn Manila time, Cathy finally sets foot in Finland. Escorted by none other but PBB’s head honcho, Direk Laurenti Dyogi, she headed to Espoo, the site of Finland’s Big Brother house. She arrived to a near-empty city, Sunday being a holiday of sorts. Cathy breathed in the cool air as she sent her warm greetings from beside the train tracks. Before even stepping inside the Big Brother house, Cathy already had a challenge to face. As fate would have it, all her luggage was accidentally left behind in Bangkok, which meant that she would start her first day with literally just the clothes on her back! How she would deal with this setback, especially with the extreme cold that comes with the winter season, is just one of the things to watch out for. more…
